Hattiesburg Country Club is one of the oldest operating landmarks in the state, established in 1919 we offer many years of experience with a classic southern atmosphere.
HCC is now under new management and is open to the public for wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties and more!
We offer 7,000+ square feet of event space that can accommodate 20 to 400 guests. Select from elegant and formal, chic and casual, large or small to fit whatever your vision may be for an extraordinary experience.
Our newly renovated ballroom is our largest room with a standing capacity of 400 guests, hardwood floors and eye-catching architecture offer a warm greeting as you enter in the grand foyer of the clubhouse which is adjacent the ballroom.
The overlook room is our most popular accommodation offering splendid views of the golf course and lake that features our captivating fountain water feature. This room is perfect for smaller parties and intimate dinners and has a standing capacity of 80 guests.
We also offer two meeting spaces that are perfect for board meetings that can accommodate 25 guests.

THEATER
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive notetaking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
SCHOOLROOM OR CLASSROOM
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
RECEPTION
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
OVALS AND ROUNDS
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A 4ft table seats 6 people comfortably. A five-foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six-foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
E-SHAPE, U-SHAPE AND T-SHAPE
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
BANQUET
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
CONFERENCE AND HOLLOW SQUARE
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people.
