Carter Callaway
Carter Callaway, originally from Jackson, Mississippi, has enjoyed the game of golf from a very early age. He has spent most of his time as a child playing golf and working for his dad at the family driving
range. After high school, Callaway moved to South Florida where he spent a year working alongside renowned golf instructor, Bob Toski. Shortly after, he travelled between Jackson and Orlando playing professional golf on different mini tours across the Southeast. Carter married Katherine in 2004 and move to her hometown in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. They have three beautiful children; Mary Carter, Cannon, and Cooper. After twelve years as a homebuilder, Hattiesburg Country Club was honored to welcome him as their very own Director Of Golf.
Carter is the perfect pro to help you with your golf game from lessons to fitting your clubs perfectly for you. As he is a certified Master Club Fitter and a member of the Professional Golf Association. He has a passion for teaching the game of golf and coaches a growing PGA Junior League Team.

Blake Miller
Blake Miller was born & raised in Ocean Springs, MS. Blake played collegiately at East Central Community College before coming to Southern Miss to finish school, majoring in Communications. Before becoming the head professional, Blake held numerous jobs at HCC since starting in 2018.
Outside of work Blake enjoys hanging out with family & officiating football. Don’t hesitate to reach out to Blake for your golfing or merchandising needs, whether it be lessons, club fittings, & tournament & outing inquiries.

Abigail Evans
I began working as an Assistant Golf Professional at Hattiesburg Country Club (HCC) in July 2021. I originate from Rainham, Kent in England, and moved to the US on a golf scholarship to East Tennessee State University. After one year I transferred to Lincoln Memorial University where I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. Once I graduated, I was offered the position of being the Graduate Assistant Women's Golf Coach at University of Southern Mississippi where I spent 2.5 years and graduated with a M.S. in Business with a specialization in Sport Management and Economic Development. Since working at HCC I have begun the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Program and am working towards full membership. Since pursuing my PGA, I have fallen in love with teaching, and it has quickly become my favorite aspect of my job.
My favorite part of working at HCC is having the opportunity to learn new skills, teach lessons and building relationships with members, guests, and those within the golfing industry. My spare time is spent travelling, adventuring with my dogs, and finding new places to eat.
